TeamTask — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Türkçe sürüm

TeamTask is a mobile and web app for teams that track jobs together. This page explains what data is collected, where it lives, and how you delete it, in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

1. Who is responsible

The party responsible for your data is the developer listed on the Google Play and App Store product pages. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

2. What is collected

Clock-in records (start/end times) Tracking hours worked On your device only.
Push token To notify you when a job is assigned while the app is closed Server
Language preference So server-generated notifications arrive in your language Server
Device identifier (a random string the app generates) So the same change is not applied twice during sync Server
Not collected: advertising ID, location history, contacts, call log, SMS, browsing history, health data, payment card details. The app does not track you across other apps or websites and does not sell your data.

3. Who can see it

Your work data is visible only to members of the same company, and how much they see depends on the permission settings in the app. An admin sees the team's jobs; a staff member sees, by default, only jobs assigned to them and jobs they created. A personal record created without assigning it to anyone is not visible to the admin either.

Profile photos and company logos are shared within the team: an image you upload appears in the app for everyone in the same company. These images are stored at a hard-to-guess web address, and your teammates' phones download them from there. Anyone who has that address could open the image, so do not use an image that must stay private as a profile photo or logo.

Your data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties. If a legal obligation arises (such as a court order), only what is required is disclosed.

4. Services we use

ServicePurpose
SupabaseDatabase, authentication and server hosting
Google (Sign in with Google)Password-free sign-in; Google gives us only your email address and name
Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo PushDelivering notifications while the app is closed

These services process data on their own servers, which may be located outside your country.

5. How long it is kept

6. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account from inside the app:

Settings → Account & privacy → Delete my account

Two confirmations are required; in the second you type your email address by hand. Once confirmed, your account, your profile, the profile photo and logos you uploaded, the companies you own and all the work data inside them are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

To request deletion without installing the app, see the account deletion request page.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its processing, and to receive a copy. For a copy, Settings → Backup → Create backup exports all of your data as a single file. For other requests, write to the address below.

8. Children

TeamTask is a business app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Security

Traffic to the server is encrypted (HTTPS). The database enforces row-level access rules: a user can only read data belonging to their own company. No system is perfectly secure, so we recommend keeping a backup of anything important.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Significant changes are also announced inside the app.
